Margaret Sue Nold

Margaret Nold was born in Sioux City, Iowa on December 1, 1946 and passed peacefully in Houston, Texas on July 16, 2016.

Margaret was an eternally optimistic, kind and generous soul who throughout her life opened her heart and home to friends, family and those in need. Even when her health was most dire, she was more worried about others than herself and found reasons to smile.

Independent and courageous all her life, she learned to fly as a teenager, traveled, read extensively, owned her own business and was a loving and proud mother.

She was predeceased by her parents Ewell K. “Sonny” and Phyllis Nold and survived by her daughter Erin Dufour and her husband Dwight, and her son Sean Cain and his wife Lesa.

“Three things will last forever – faith, hope and love – and the greatest of these is love.” 1 Cor. 13:13
