Rebuild Rockport (ACISD) Schools Update
The Rockport,
Texas area and Aransas County Independent School District bore the full force
and fury of Hurricane Harvey. Their
buildings were battered but their spirit remains intact.
For every PowerWalks
classroom observation conducted between August 25, 2017 and September 30, 2017,
Lead Your School will donate 5¢ to Aransas County Independent School District
to assist in their clean-up and rebuilding efforts.
As of today,
there have been 11,209 PowerWalks completed, this means that the current donation total
stands at $560.45.
LYS Nation,
keep stepping up!

PowerWalks Hero Schools (August 2017)
In furtherance of a LYS Nation tradition, we will take this time to tip
our caps to the campuses that have embraced the most important step in creating
and maintaining an action oriented professional learning community. These
are the campuses that have conducted an extraordinary number of formative
classroom observations in a given month. Since this is the beginning of
the school year, any campus that conducted more than 25 PowerWalks observation is
to be considered a Hero Campus.
Next month due to our PowerWalks - Rebuild Rockport Schools
campaign, we are raising the bar significantly higher.
Your September Rebuild Rockport Targets
High Schools – 450 PowerWalks Observations
Middle Schools / Junior High Schools – 400 PowerWalks Observations
Elementary / Intermediate / Combined Campuses – 300 PowerWalks Observations
Alternative Schools – 100 PowerWalks Observations.
Now is the time for you and your team to step up for the students and
educators of Aransas County ISD
(Rockport, Texas)!
Now without further ado, here are your seventy-seven PowerWalks
Hero Schools for the month of August 2017. Congratulations!!!
