The Camouflaged Voucher Truth:
As mentioned in the previous post, “The Big Voucher Lie,” we have school choice.
What we don’t have are SUBSIDIES for
those who choose to pursue a private education option for their children.
So who are the primary consumers
of private school options?
If you guessed upper middle
class and affluent families, you would be correct. So the Camouflaged Voucher
Truth is that the proponents of voucher are actually advocating for new subsidies and additional tax benefits
for the RICH.
Now I’m just a simple educator, naive
in the ways of the World. So would
someone please explain to me how defunding
public education for the sole purpose of providing additional subsidies and tax benefits for the RICH is
good public policy?
